WA News Week
Access
31 brings Perth viewers "Western Australia's News Week"
each Wednesday night at 8pm. The programme is a 30-minute studio-based
discussion programe on current affairs in Western Australia.
Anchored by Gerry Gannon the first series of programmes featured
journalists Roger Martin from The Australian together with ABC 720
Drive presenter John McNamara and a newsmaker making headlines this
week.
The
first programme in the series went to air on March 7, 2001 and featured
the Premier, The Hon. Dr. Geoff Gallop MLA.
New
Series
The
new series of "WA News Week" was launched on Wednesday
July 6, 2005. Each week, Gerry Gannon wil be joined by two members
of Perth's journalistic fraternity drawn from the panel below.
